Five Infused Water Recipes


Staying well hydrated has so many health benefits. It helps regulate body temperature, keeps joints lubricated, prevents infections, delivers nutrients to cells, keeps organs functioning properly, and even helps with weight loss.

Experts don’t agree on how much water we need, but a good rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces daily. For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, aim for 80 ounces of water.

Of course, on hot days or after a strenuous workout, you may need even more.

Plain water is the best way to stay hydrated, but we know some people find it boring. That’s why we love infusing our water with fruit, veggies, and herbs.

It’s a great way to add flavor without extra calories, sugar, or artificial flavorings.

Below are our five favorite Infused Water Recipes!

  • Recipe #1: Blueberry Basil
    • blueberries

For all recipes:
  1. Wash & chop the produce.

  2. Optional: Muddle the produce. Place it in the bottom of a glass and use a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon to press, twist, and release the juices.

  3. Add the chopped or muddled produce to a pitcher, jar, or water bottle. The amount depends on how much water you use and how intense you want the flavor.

  4. Add cold water and steep 2 – 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

  5. Drink as is or pour through a strainer to filter out the produce. We love using this infusion pitcher.

  • Feel free to experiment with different flavors. You’ll have no problem staying hydrated when your water looks and tastes like a treat!
