Cacio e Pepe Pasta with Crispy Chicken


When you’re in the mood for a creamy & comforting meal, this is it. The Cacio e Pepe sauce is rich & flavorful and the black pepper gives it a bit of a kick. The chicken is crispy on the outside and soft & juicy on the inside.

You could easily eat the entire bag of pasta at once, but the calories, sodium & saturated fat would be way too high. So, in order to enjoy the delicious flavors while keeping the meal healthy & well-balanced, we’re using just ¼ bag of pasta per serving and adding plenty of veggies & protein.

Makes 2 servings
All ingredients purchased @ Trader Joe's



  • 2 pieces Breaded Chicken Tenderloin Breast (frozen section)
  • 1 pack sliced white mushrooms
  • 1 pack baby spinach
  • ½ pack Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (frozen section)



  1. Heat up the chicken according to package instructions.

  2. Spray a pan with oil and sauté the mushrooms 3-5 minutes. Add the spinach and cook another three minutes.

  3. Add the pasta and sauce rectangles. Cook, covered, until all ingredients are warm (~4-5 minutes).

  4. When ready, place half the pasta and one piece of chicken on each plate. Enjoy!
