Nutty Crunchy Apple-Pear Bowl

 

This recipe is a perfect mid-morning snack. It’s packed with protein, fiber and nutrients to keep you satisfied & energized between meals.

But more importantly it is mouth-wateringly delicious!

The combination of the sweet, tart fruit, the rich nut butter and the crunchy seeds & almonds is divine. Plus, the cacao chips will satisfy your chocolate craving with zero added sugar!

In fact, you might even be tempted to serve this as a dessert at your next dinner party!

 

 

Makes 2 servings
All ingredients purchased @ Trader Joe's

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Mixed Nut Butter

  • 2 tablespoons almond milk

  • 1 medium apple, diced

  • 1 medium pear, diced

  • 2 tablespoons, roasted sunflower seeds

  • 2 tablespoons, slivered almonds

  • 1 tablespoon Organic Completely Cacao Chips

 

Directions:

  1. Stir the nut butter and almond milk together in a bowl.

  2. Add the diced fruit. Place half in a small bowl for today. Place the other half in an airtight container and store in the fridge for tomorrow.

  3. Sprinkle one tablespoon sunflower seeds, one tablespoon slivered almonds and ½ tablespoon cacao chips on top of today’s serving.

  4. When ready to eat tomorrow’s snack, simply take out of the fridge and sprinkle the seeds, nuts & chips on top.
