Hearts of Palm Pasta with Chicken & Asparagus
This filling & satisfying dinner takes just ten minutes to make. The texture & consistency of the Hearts of Palm Pasta is similar to regular pasta, but the only ingredient is hearts of palm, a vegetable made from the core of a palm tree. It’s very low in calories, and full of fiber & minerals.
You’ll find it on the shelves of the dry pasta section at Trader Joe’s, but if it’s out of stock, you can use TJ’s frozen zucchini spirals instead.
To make this a well-balanced meal, we’ve added protein & veggies. And we’ve spiced it up with TJ’s tangy & mouthwatering Cuban Style Citrusy Garlic Seasoning Blend.

Ingredients:

1 box TJ’s Hearts of Palm Pasta

oil spray
-
½ pack grilled asparagus, chopped
-
½ cup cherry tomatoes, sliced in half

½ pack (6 oz.) Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken, chopped

1 teaspoon Cuban Style Citrusy Garlic Seasoning Blend
Directions:

Pour the Hearts of Palm Pasta into a strainer and rinse well. Set aside.

Spray a pan with oil, add the asparagus, heat for two minutes, and push aside.

Add tomatoes and sauté two minutes.

Add Hearts of Palm Pasta and sauté another minute.

Add the chicken and seasoning blend. Continue to cook five more minutes, or until all ingredients are warm.
